In this two-hour course, we will explore basic Thai Yoga Massage techniques and tools such as palming and gentle assisted movement to use with your students or private Yoga clients, as a great addition at the end of your class in Savasana / relaxation or even in long held poses in Yin Yoga sessions or similar.
Through movement linked by intention and breath we can bring a sense of devotion or “Bhakti” to our practice ~ to a higher self, a higher being or higher purpose. Join this juicy 90 minute heart opening sequence, ending with a heart chakra meditation and chanting to seal it all in.
In this 3-hour workshop, we will begin to explore the principles of giving powerful, safe and yet transformational yoga asana assists - a technique that is deeply rooted in the Jivamukti and Ashtanga Yoga methods, among others. Rather than focusing on learning the so-called “correct adjustment" for each pose, we will instead look at how to empower you to use and customize assists safely and effectively.
